The title itself gives the introduction of Pramukh swami — A spiritual Hero. A hero is someone to whom all admire and a role model for many. It’s difficult for an individual to be a hero in someone’s life. As being hero takes lot of hard work, dedication, discipline and sacrifice! Not everyone can do that in life…
And being a Spiritual hero! Probably one of the toughest things on earth.
The great devotee Mirabai stated in one of her poems that — following the religious path is the toughest of all! So just imagine how much tough it would have been for Pramukh Swami Maharaj to be a spiritual Hero.
However, his greatness lies in walking the toughest path with a smile on the face and an inner wish to see everyone happy! His moto was “In the Joy of others’ lies our own!”
His greatness is not only by building 1200 mandirs across India, USA, UK Australia, Africa. Not by inspiring 1000+ sadhus, not by creating Akshardhams, not by winning more than 5 Gunnies world records, not because every great man and women praise him everyday, but his true greatness lies in being Egoless even after achieving all of these.
His greatness prevails as he lived the life according to the command / agna of God Swaminarayan and his Guru Shastriji maharaj and Yogiji Maharaj.
His greatness is because he lived a pure life as a Sadhu by following Panch-vartmans – Nishkam, Nirlobh, Nis-sneh, Nirman, Niswad!
His greatness is because he has inspired millions of people to live a pure and spiritual life by giving away the bad addiction of Cigrate, tobacco, alcohol, etc. from their life! He has helped many people leave the inner enemies like anger, greed, lust, ego from life.
His greatness lies in spreading spiritual, cultural, moral values to Kids, Youth, adults and old people alike. His greatness lies in showing everyone the path of attaining God! That is why, Pramukh Swami is A spiritual Hero!
Many of us consider APJ Abdul Kalam as hero in our life! However, according to Abdul Kalam, Pramukh Swami Maharaj is a true hero and Guru to him!
He has written in his last book — Transcendence that “Pramukh Swami is my ultimate Teacher. Pramukh Swami has taught me the biggest lesson of my life. How to remove “I” and “me” from the life. Pramukh Swami has taught how to become ego less. And Pramukh Swami has kept me in God’s synchronised Orbit forever.”
This is my prayer today that we all learn some values from Pramukh Swami in our life too.
So, Pramukh Swami is indeed the Hero of a Hero. A Spiritual Hero : Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
